Blues come from behind for another victory
News Item posted - 29th August 2010
Bury Town picked up another Ryman Premier Division victory with a win at Maidstone United. Blues fell behind after 22 minutes when an unmarked header found the net, but just as they did at Tonbridge four days earlier, they came back to take the three points. Captain Tom Bullard found the net to level for the visitors, and shortly afterwards, Scott Chaplin put Bury in front before the interval. After the break, there were chances for both sides, but Bury defended strongly in the closing stages. Before the match, the disability sides from Maidstone United and Bury Town faced each other on the Homelands pitch, with Maidstone coming out on top by 2 goals to 0.
