Bury Town took a comfortable win in their final home league game of the season and move up to third place in the league

The Bury Town supporters turned out in force for The Blues last home league game of the season and the team severed up a real treat. Bury were soon in control of the game with Cemal Ramadan netting two goals in two minutes. First a shot from Ryan Horne was redirected past the 'keeper by Ramdan. Then Ramadan found himself free in the box and placed his shot perfectly between the 'keeper and the near post to grab his second goal with just eight minutes on the clock.
On 18 minutes Max Maughn sent a ball in from the wing that found Luke Brown and he looped the ball over the defence for Cemal Ramadan in the box but the defence managed to get the ball clear.
On 19 minutes another Bury attack saw Max Maughn cross the ball to the far side of the box for Oliver Yun but his shot was hit straight at the 'keeper and George Edgeworth made the save. On 23 minutes in a repeat of the previous attack Max Maughn again sent the ball over to Oliver Yun but this time his shot hit the post and rebounded off the 'keeper and into the net to put Bury three goals to the good.
On 30 minutes Bury were on the attack again with Ed Upson playing a superb ball out to Max Maughn on the wing and his cross into the box almost found Cemal Ramadan who was poised to shoot but the defence sneaked the ball way.
On 31 minutes Cemal Ramadan had a good chance for his hat-trick when he got into the box to shoot but instead produced a good save from the foot of George Edgeworth. A dominant half from Bury Town gave them a big lead at the break.

Half Time: Bury Town 3 Enfield 0

Bury continued where they left off first half as they attacked from the start and early in the second half Ryan Jolland hit a good strike which was saved by George Edgeworth but the ball fell to Oliver Yun to score his second goal from close range.
On 52 minutes Bury won a free kick which Ed Upson sent inches over the bar. A minute later another good ball from Ed Upson found Max Maughn out on the wing and his cross into the box was headed wide by Cemal Ramadan.
Max Maughn then went from provider to goal scorer when he made it five after going past two players and scoring. Enfield who had struggled to contain Bury since the game started then had a spell on the ball.
On 75 minutes Frankie Franz set up Sam Bantick to shoot but he pulled his shot wide of the post. Another attack from Enfield a minutes later saw Luke Clark get into the Bury box and a short pass set up Callum Taylor to strike with power but Charlie Beckwith, who had very little to do all game, made a superb save.
On 85 minutes Charlie Beckwith went for route one as his long goal kick found Cemal Ramadan in on goal but an excellent one handed save from George Edgeworth sent the ball just over the bar.
Then Ryan Jolland put the icing on the cake for Bury on 88 minutes when he scored from close range.
Bury Town put in a great performance to win the game and with all the other sides in the playoff places losing this was a vital win to send Bury Town 3rd in the playoff places, two points behind 2nd place with just one more away league game to go.
