Club confirms appointment of Travis Wright as Head of Media, joined by Pharrell White and Josh Pearson ahead of the 26/27 season.
Travis joins following a 3-year stint at National League North outfit King’s Lynn Town, with over 5 years of football media experience; specialising in social media growth.
Pharrell joins the team having a near-equal time experience in graphic design, with 2 years in football media, predominantly at Step 3 with Corby Town and Stamford, specialising in graphics and the creative media side of football.
Josh has already been here since near the start of the 25/26 season as Club Photographer, hitting the ground running and will continue his excellent work, liaising together with the new media team.
From Travis Wright:
We are actively looking for anybody who would like to join as a matchday videographer. This is a perfect opportunity for any college students looking for work experience placements with West Suffolk College, or independently. The only requirement is being 16+.
If you’re interested, please contact media@burytownfc.co.uk.
Additionally, we’d like to explore the viability of a radio station every matchday home/away. If this is of interest to you either as a fan, or an actual commentator, please get in touch with the email above. Equally, if you have any other feedback or suggestions we are more than happy to hear them on that email also.
I’d like to thank the people I have met so far, including the staff, fans, directors, players and other stakeholders in the football club – and I appreciate how receptive and open they have been to change in our entire digital output. It certainly helps when everyone is pulling in one direction.
We truly have a good team here and we can’t wait for you to see a completely refined, fresh look for the club.
You’ll hear more from us soon. For now, enjoy the summer, and we’ll see you at Ram Meadow in July.
