Bury Town took yet another win to go an astonishing seventeen games unbeaten but they had to work hard throughout the game for that win

Bury Town took the game to New Salamis from the start and had an early chance in just the second minute when a long throw into the box was headed back towards goal by Ollie Canfer and Cemal Ramadan collected the ball but shot over the bar.
On 12 minutes Bury won a corner which Ryan Jolland put on to the head of Luke Brown but he steered his header past the far post. Then on 17 minutes it was the visitors who took the lead against the run of play. Derek Asamoah putting a long ball forward for Wraynel Hercules and his early strike from distance beat Bury 'keeper Charlie Beckwith.
Bury stayed calm and continued to play their game. On 24 minutes Ollie Canfer found Ryan Jolland with a neat pass and Jolland sent the ball across goal but the defence got the vital touch to send the ball out of play.
On 27 minutes Max Maughn set up Cemal Ramadan for the equaliser but his shot from close to the penalty spot was saved well by Reuben Rabstein. Joe Carroll sent a long throw deep into the New Salamis box for Ollie Canfer who was close to the near post but quick reactions from Rabstein saw the 'keeper collect the ball.
Ethan Mayhew went of the attack for Bury on 33 minutes and set up Cemal Ramadan to shoot but the shot went over the bar. On 40 minutes another counter-attack from New Salamis saw Panny Boxer send a long ball forward for Derek Asamoah to chase but some superb cover play from Joe White won the ball back for Bury. Bury enjoyed lots of possession first half but it was New Salamis that took a narrow lead into the break.

Half Time: Bury Town 0 New Salamis 1

Bury continued to play on the front foot second half and an early chance came on 48 minutes when a ball into the box almost fell to Max Maughn who was in close to the 'keeper but Reuben Rabstein dropped down quickly to cover the ball.
On 51 minutes Oliver Yun sent a long ball out to Ethan Mayhew who then put a good cross into the box looking for Cemal Ramadan but again the 'keeper acted quickly to make the catch.
Bury then made a chance count when on 52 minutes a ball played wide in the box was picked up by Cemal Ramadan and he showed a cool head and slotted home the equaliser from a tight angle.
Then on 56 minutes Ryan Jolland put a free kick deep to the far post and Ollie Canfer was on hand to put Bury in front from close range.
On 67 minutes New Salamis went on the attack and Joe Waight got to the edge of the box before hitting a thunderous strike at goal which Bury 'keeper Charlie Beckwith did well to stop and send up into the air then collect.
On 79 minutes Derek Asamoah broke forward and got into the Bury box before the defence did their job and denied the shooting chance.
On 85 minutes New Salamis had another charge forward with Wraynel Hercules powering into the box but he overran the ball and sent it out of play. Bury turned the game around and took the win but New Salamis made it very hard work for The Blues all afternoon.
