A big second half performance from Bury Town sees the Blues take a big three points to move just outside the top ten in the league.

Walthamstow started the game on the front foot with Bilal Sayoud breaking down the wing on 2 minutes and sending a cross into the box for Jordon Watson but the Bury defence covered the play well and soon won the ball back.
A couple of minutes later another Walthamstow attack saw Matthew Ball put a cross into the box but the flight of the ball was just too long for Adalberto Pinto.
Bury won a corner on 7 minutes which Ed Upson sent into the box for Luke Brown who then found Josh Curry, but he shot wide of the mark. On 12 minutes Bury had a great chance to open the scoring with Luke Brown putting a ball into the box for Cemal Ramadan but he missed the ball as he attempted the half volley and the defence got the ball clear.
A quick attack from Bury on 21 minutes ended with Luke Brown seeing his shot from inside the box blocked. Walthamstow had a good chance on 26 minutes after a good spell of attacking play, but Adalberto Pinto decided to take a dive in the box rather than play what was a good chance to score.
The Blues won a corner on 29 minutes and Ed Upson played a great cross into the near post for Oliver Yun but his downward header was blocked close to the goal line. On 40 minutes Walthamstow broke down the wing with Bilal Sayoud showing good pace and his cross into the box was heading for Jordon Watson but an important header from Lewis O’Malley sent the ball back up field. With neither keeper seriously tested the half inevitably ended goalless.

Half Time: Bury Town 0 Walthamstow 0

Bury Town made a faster start to the half than they did in the first half with Cemal Ramadan getting into the box in the first minute but his cross come shot went high over the bar but the intent was clear to see and on 54 minutes Bury got off the mark when a ball into the box was picked up by Luke Brown who hit his strike with power and beat the 'keeper from close range.
On 61 minutes Oliver Yun went down the wing and his cross into the box was cleared but only as far as Max Maughn but he shot wide.
On 71 minutes another good attack from Bury saw Luke Brown send a cross into the centre for Cemal Ramadan who was unmarked, but he shot wide of the target.
On 76 minutes Max Maughn went clean through on goal but his shot was saved well by Walthamstow 'keeper Ashlee Jones.
Cemal Ramadan doubled the lead for Bury when a long ball up field found him unmarked again and this time, he made it count with a cool finish on 80 minutes.
Bury were attacking well and on 86 minutes a well worked goal saw Louis Henman Mason switch the play out wide and Luke Brown took the ball into the box before the perfect cross found the head of Ed Upson who made it 3-0 to the Blues.
Louie Arnold made it four in stoppage time from the spot after Ed Upson was fouled in the box. Walthamstow remain in 9th place but a much-needed win and a clean sheet lifts Bury Town up four places to 11th place in the league table.
