Two late goals from Lewis O’Malley and returning fan favourite Darren Mills saves a point for Bury Town

Bury Town started the game brightly with Ryan Horne sending Luke Brown into the box on 4 minutes, but he shot wide of the target. Horne had a go himself two minutes later but hit the side netting with his strike.
Gorleston grew into the game and started to make chances of their own and on 10 minutes Connor Ingram beat the offside trap and got into the Bury box but put his shot into the side netting.
On 19 minutes a slick Gorleston attack saw Luke Johnson shoot just over the bar. Gorleston then took the lead on 28 minutes. After a good attack from the visitors the ball came out to Dion Frary who hit a beautiful strike from distance that flew over the 'keeper and into the top corner.
On 32 minutes Bury went on the attack with Max Maughn showing good skills to get down the wing and into the box to make a short pass to Jose Santa De La Paz but the pass was intercepted and cleared by the defence.
On 36 minutes Gorleston went back on the attack with Dominic Docherty putting a pass into Connor Ingram on the edge of the box but he got the ball stuck under his feet and the chance was gone.
Gorleston almost when two goals up on 39 minutes when a header from Dominic Docherty was cleared off the goal line by Ethan Mayhew. Bury went close to a goal themselves in first half injury time when Jose Santa De La Paz hit the post, but it was Gorleston who had the lead going in at half time.

Half Time: Bury Town 0 Gorleston 1

Bury Town looked more determined second half as they kept the ball much better. On 47 minutes Max Maughn broke into the box for Bury but shot wide.
On 59 minutes Gorleston's Ryan Curtis got forward and put an inviting ball across the face of goal for Luke Johnson but he could not get any contact on the ball to send it goalward.
A Gorleston corner on 60 minutes was headed clear close to the near post by Ethan Mayhew. On 65 minutes Oliver Yun had the ball in the back of the net for Bury only for the linesman to rule it offside.
Max Maughn was back in the action on 67 minutes when he drove forward and set up Ed Upson to shoot from just outside the box but he put the ball high over the bar.
On 79 minutes another snaking run from Max Maughn saw him get into the box to set up Cemal Ramadan but his soft shot was easy for the 'keeper to collect.
Bury were searching hard for the equaliser but a poor back pass on 88 minutes left the Bury 'keeper Danny Cullum stranded and Ryan Curtis scored into the empty net to double the lead for Gorleston.
With the game looking all but done Lewis O’Malley gave Bury some hope when on 90 minutes he headed home from an Ed Upson corner. Then on 97 minutes another Ed Upson corner saw a very determined Darren Mills get the ball over the line at the second attempt to grab a share of the points for the Blues.
