Luck was not on the side of Bury Town after their lead was overturned by two own goals and it was a horrible way to go out of any competition but it was Wroxham that go through to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Both defences were on top for the most part in this game as both sides found it hard in front of goal. Bury were first on the attack with Luke Brown hitting a low free kick which was deflected just wide.
On 8 minutes another Bury attack saw Oliver Yun play a great long ball into the box which was picked up by Jose Santa De La Paz and he battled well to find the space to shoot from close range, but Wroxham keeper Ollie Sutton made a great reaction save.
The best chance of the half for Bury came after 13 minutes when a superb strike from Cemal Ramadan from outside the box was dipping under the bar before the 'keeper saved at full stretch to send the ball just over the bar.
With 17 minutes on the clock a speculative effort on goal by Wroxham saw Ryan Miles shoot from distance and the ball took a huge deflection, beat the Bury 'keeper but landed just over the bar on the roof of the net.
On 25 minutes a cross into the Wroxham box from Oliver Yun saw the keeper come to collect the ball but spill in almost directly in from of Cemal Ramadan who was waiting to pounce but the defence managed to do enough to get the ball clear. Just before half time Bury tried route one football when Danny Cullum’s long goal kick beat the defence and the pace of Jose Santa De La Paz saw him one on one with the keeper, but Ollie Sutton rushed out to make himself big and made the save. Bury had plenty of possession first half but it was all square at half time.

Half Time: Bury Town 0 Wroxham 0

After the break Wroxham saw more of the ball but Bury continued to manage the game well. On 46 minutes Wroxham broke down the wing and Ryan Miles worked the ball to just inside the box before his curling effort to the top far corner went just wide of the post.
58 minutes had passed when a long driving run forward for Bury saw Ethan Mayhew dance past player after player and on into the box before Jordan King got a foot to the ball to intercept and clear the danger.
On 69 minutes Bury made the breakthrough when a beautiful run into the box and pinpoint pass from Cemal Ramadan set up Louis Henman Mason who was unmarked on the opposite side of the box and he scored for Bury.
The lead did not last long however when two minutes later Wroxham put a cross into the box which eventually fell in front of Tom Huckerby, and he poked the ball towards goal and a defection took the ball past the Bury 'keeper for the equaliser.
Football can be a cruel game sometimes at that was evident on 79 minutes when a cross into the box for Wroxham from Ryan Miles saw Ollie Fenn try to get a touch on the ball to stop the cross but with the ball behind him, he stuck out a leg and another own goal was the result.
Bury almost saved the day on 89 minutes when a quality attack allowed Cemal Ramadan to get in at the far post but his shot from close range pulled a good save from Ollie Sutton. #
For the home side this seasons 'Road to Wembley' came to an end but there is some comfort in the fact that the Blues restricted Wroxham to zero shots on target and it was bad luck not the performance that contributed to the result.
