An entertaining game in the blistering heat saw Bury Town come from two goals down to win in dramatic style at Langford Road

The early chances in the game saw Bury Town go close in the first minutes when Ryan Jolland set up Cemal Ramadan in the box but a good save from Jack Berman denied Bury the opening goal.
A minutes later it was Biggleswade on the attack with Damani Hunter getting a cross into the box for Liam Brookes to shoot but his shot was blocked. On 9 minutes another Biggleswade attack had Liam Brookes pressing forward and a short pass found JJ Lacey who went on into the box before Lewis O’Malley did his job extremely well and won the ball back for Bury.
On 12 minutes Max Maughn worked the ball down the wing and into the box before his first shot was blocked and his second shot was saved well by Jack Berman. The Blues made a lot of early chances, but it was Biggleswade Town that found the back of the net first. On 28 minutes a corner played in by Cole Da Silva was met by Harry Draper who put the Waders in front.
A minutes later Danny Cullum was called on twice for Bury when he saved first from Damani Hunter and then saved the follow up shot from Harry Draper. The goal lifted Biggleswade who were now starting for find more going forward.
On 34 minutes a good ball into the box was picked up by Harry Draper but his shot to the top corner was defected out of play for a corner. Bury had a great chance on 37 minutes when Ethan Mayhew put a through ball into the box which found Cemal Ramadan unmarked and on his own, but his shot went inches wide of the post. Plenty of attacking by Bury during the first half but it was Biggleswade who led at half time.

After the break Biggleswade went two goals up early on when Cole Da Silva smashed a central free kick into the top corner giving Danny Cullum no chance as he tried to save at full stretch.
After 53 minutes Biggleswade were back on the attack and Cole Da Silva put a great cross to the far post but no one was available to take advantage as the ball went a whisker past the post. Biggleswade looked good on the attack but Bury never gave up and on 62 minutes found a reply. Max Maughn got down the wing and lifted the ball into the box and a guided header from Luke Brown beat the keeper and halved the deficit for the Blues.
On 84 minutes Biggleswade had a chance to regain their two-goal advantage when Liam Brookes was in on goal but hit the side netting with his effort.
Bury dug deep and on 85 minutes Cemal Ramadan was in the right place at the right time to get on the end of a cross into the box from Jose Santa De La Paz and fire Bury level from close range.
With a penalty shootout looking on the cards as the game entered injury time Josh Curry had other ideas as a cross was met by his powerful first-time strike from outside the box and he got the winner for Bury in the 97th minute.
A dramatic end to an entertaining game which saw Bury Town come from two goals down to book their place in the next round of the Isuzu FA Trophy where they will entertain Walthamstow at home on Saturday 23rd September.
