League Leaders in Town

By Chris Ward

The Blues welcome league leaders Bowers & Pitsea to the Denny Bros Stadium

Bury Town are back in home action for the first time in over a month today as they welcome Bostik North leaders Bowers & Pitsea to the Denny Bros Stadium, kick off 3pm.

Bury returned from the Len Salmon Stadium earlier this season with a point thanks to a 2-2 draw, one of only three sides to have returned from Bowers with anything to show for their efforts. Bowers previous two trips to our home have seen us win 3-0, followed up by a 0-0 draw last season.

The Blues will be looking to recover from last weekend's narrow 2-1 defeat at Coggeshall Town and put another three points back on the board. Manager Ben Chenery will welcome back Ryan Jolland who returns from suspension and also Ryley Scott who has re-joined on loan from Ipswich Town after being recalled two weeks ago.

After some overnight rain there are no issues with the pitch.
