Bury Town Under 23's suffered their first defeat of the season in the Bluefin Development League North Division after they were well beaten at Enfield Town's Queen Elizabeth Stadium on Wednesday evening. Bury were forced to field a weaker than usual side due to the first teams match at Northwood the previous evening.
Bury competed well for the first 30 minutes until an unfortunate own goal by Branham Ince gave the home side the lead. The E's doubled their lead when Cardell Flavien-Nicholas scored after 40 minutes to put the home side in the driving seat at the break.

If Bury were looking to keep things tight and find a way back into this game during the opening stage of the second half, but that theory was blown to bits when Enfield added their 3rd goal just 3 minutes into the second period when Joshua Davison scored.
In the 55th minute of the match Junior Mubiayi scored the fourth goal for the Middlesex side and 10 minutes later the game was made safe and the scoring was rounded up when Mus Dauti got his name on the scoresheet.
