Bury Town come from behind again to make it four back to back wins

Bury Town came from behind to take another win but were made to work for every ball by Grays. On 3 minutes Mitch Hann put a deep cross close to Bury Keeper Luis Tibbles and Tibbles had to get down quickly to smother the ball. At the other end a minutes later Ryan Jolland and Emanuel Machaya linked up well, but the move ended with Jolland shooting straight at Grays keeper Clarke Bogard. A trademark break down the wing from Ollie Hughes on 8 minutes left everyone in has wake as he powered trough into the box and on into the six yard box and went close to finding Tanner Call with a short pass but a brave collect from Bogard ended the move. On 10 minutes the action switched again to the other end as Grays went on the attack. A superb cross into the box fell perfectly for Correy Davidson who could only steer the ball wide of the far post on the volley. Grays took the lead on 24 minutes with Correy Davidson taking advantage of a ball given away and showing a cool head as he went around Tibbles to slot the ball in to the empty net. This game was never going to produce just one goal and Ollie Fenn fired Bury level on 31 minutes with a stunning hook which flew in to the top corner. Bury had a chance just before half time with Machaya breaking to the edge of the box and curling a strike towards the far post and Bogard made an exceptional save to palm the ball out for a corner.

After the break the game became very open as both sides found chance in front of goal. Jake Chambers Shaw put Bury in front on 58 minutes after a great cross in to the box from Ollie Hughes and a deft header back past the keeper from Chambers Shaw gave Bury the lead for the first time in the game. Ollie Hughes was played in to the keeper on 60 minutes and tested Bogard at the near post but the keeper made another good save. A Bury free kick was put in to the box by Chambers Shaw on 62 minutes and Kyran Clements went close to steering the ball inside the post but the ball went just wide. On 66 minutes Micheal Toner levelled the game for Grays. A powerful strike from Correy Davidson was saved well by Tibbles only to fall at the feet of Michael Toner who could not miss with Tibbles still on the ground. Tanner Call made a great assist for Emmanuel Machaya to put Bury back in front on 73 minutes. Call chasing down a ball heading out of play to the by-line and chipping a sweet ball in to Machaya who tucked his finished inside the near post. Machaya was on the score sheet again on 75 minutes after some tremendous work by Hughes out wide to spin past his marker and find Machaya with a perfect cross and Machaya did the rest as he Bury the game beyond Greys. The game of done for Bury but a late scare saw Davidson getting in to the box and his shot was tipped over the bar by Luis Tibbles. Its four wins on the bounce for Bury as they look to finish the season as strong as possible and cement their current sixth placed position this season.
