Background:Bury Town are back in action at the Denny Bros Stadium on Saturday afternoon as Dereham Town make the short trip from Norfolk for a Bostik League North Division game. The Magpies have not enjoyed the best start to the season, and currently sit third from bottom in the Bostik North table, and that hasn’t been helped with a 3 point deduction by the league for not having a player correctly signed on while playing in a victory. Last weekend they lost 0-1 at home to Canvey Island so they will be hoping to pick up some precious points at our expense. Dereham completed a league double over the Blues last season with a 1-0 win at Ram Meadow and a 2-0 win against a 10-man Blues side at Aldiss Park after Bradley Barber's sending off in the first 5 minutes.
Ben Chenery's side will look to build on an away point at leaders Bowers & Pitsea last weekend, Bury picking up their first ever point at the Len Salmon Stadium after some previous poor results. The manager was encouraged by his sides ability to fit back for 0-2 down to claim a draw with Jake Kerins and Jake Chambers Shaw, both summer signings from Mildenhall Town, on the score sheet.
Injury News: There will be late fitness tests for Ian Miller and Kyran Clements, both central defenders missing the game at Bowers & Pitsea. Ollie Fenn will return after being unavailable last week and Ryan Jolland returns from a 1 match suspension.
Last time out: Dereham Town 2 Bury Town 0 - 14th November 2017
