Background:Bury Town welcome second placed Coggeshall Town to the Denny Bros Stadium on Saturday afternoon, looking to inflict only their second defeat of the season on the newly promoted side. The Essex side have started life in the Isthmian League with a bang and are looking for their fourth consecutive promotion after assembling an experienced squad since their promotion from the Eastern Counties League. Their only defeat came in their second match of the season against Dereham Town, but since then they have continued to pick up points which has seen them remain hot on the heels of Bowers & Pitsea in top spot.
Coggeshall have recently picked up wins on the road at Sudbury and Mildenhall Town, and last week defeated a stubborn Barking side 1-0 at their West Street ground and go into the game on the back of five consecutive wins.
Bury Town go into the game in mixed form, with a good win at Tilbury last week in the Bostik League followed by a disappointing County Cup exit at Hadleigh United on Tuesday. Ben Chenery will be looking for much better than his side showed on Tuesday.
Star striker Cemal Ramadan will make his first appearance back at the Denny Bros Stadium after his transfer from Leiston, and he came to the rescue in the last league game at Tilbury with two goals in the final ten minutes to give the Blues the points.
Injury News: Bury Town should welcome back goalkeeper Luis Tibbles after his international duty in the Falkland Islands, and Jake Chambers Shaw should return after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury, however there are doubts over the fitness of left back Ryan Stafford and a number of other players with minor knocks. Tommy Hughes will be eligible again after being ineligible for the Suffolk Premier Cup match at Hadleigh.
Last time out: There have been no previous meetings between the sides.
Stadium Directions: Leave the A14 Junction 43, signposted to central Bury St Edmunds. Once clear of the exit roundabout, follow the signs to Town Centre. Take the first exit at the next roundabout (after 300 yards) into Northgate Street. At the second set of traffic lights (T - Junction), turn left into Mustow Street and first left into Cotton Lane, past the Hawkes garage and the Drive Car Showroom. Carry on down to the bottom of Cotton Lane and turn right in the council car park. The Denny Bros Stadium is at the far end of the car park, situated on the left hand.
