Defender Aaron Okpolokpo and striker Louie Arnold join from Hadleigh United and Cornard United respectively

Cole Skuse and Paul Musgrove made two late signings ahead of Saturday's home match with Witham Town, with defender Aaron Okpolokpo joining from Hadleigh United and striker Louie Arnold joining from Cornard United.

Okpolokpo is a 17 year old defender born in Dublin, Ireland who has been playing for Hadleigh United this season, but also made a few appearances for Stowmarket Town. He started in the 3-0 win over Witham at the OCS Ram Meadow on Saturday.

Louie Arnold is a young striker who progressed through the AFC Sudbury academy before joining Cornard United this season, and has 11 goals already this season for the Blackhouse Lane club, and he came on as a substitute on Saturday.

Manager Cole Skuse said "We have been keeping an eye on both players this season. We looked at Aaron earlier in the season following a recommendation. He spent a short time at Stowmarket earlier in the season but things did not work out for him there so he went back to Hadleigh.

Louie is a young striker who has performed well at step 6 this season with 11 goals already this term, so we are hoping that he will be able to bring that part of his game up a couple of levels and we will be working with him closely.

Myself and the management team are continuing to make the necessary changes to the squad to make sure we are competing where we should be. Saturday's result was a step in the right direction but there is still a lot of hard work to do"
