Popular youngster earns himself a two year contract at Portman Road

Ross Crane will leave The Blues after 1 season after earning himself a two year contract at Ipswich Town FC, and becomes the latest in a long line of players to progress from Bury Town FC into the professional game.

Ross has had an excellent season and had been training with the Ipswich Town academy with a view to him joining their club before the Coronavirus pandemic halted all football.

Ben Chenery had to say "I am delighted that Ross has earned himself this opportunity. I will be disappointed to lose him from our team but he deserves this chance and I wish him all the best"

"He has worked very hard for us all season and is developing as a player, so his next move into full time training with Ipswich Town will help him progress further"
