Bury Town recovered from 2 early goals to stage a great fightback and earn all 3 points on offer at Aldiss Park on Saturday.
The Blues looked to be heading for defeat when an early penalty from Adam Hipperson and then a strike from Ryan Hawkins put the Magpies ahead, but a curling free kick from Cemal Ramadan just before the break gave Bury hope of a second half comeback.
Town were level just a minute after the restart when Ramadan was left in time and space to slot the ball in an empty net and then after 69 minute Ollie Hughes lobbed the ball over the onrushing Elliott Pride to put Bury in front and that was the way that things stayed.
