Bury Town head to Sudbury for their final away match of the season

The Blues make their final away journey of the season this afternoon, but it will be a short trip down the A134 to Sudbury.

Ben Chenery's side have all but secured 6th place in the Bostik North table and look set to finish as Suffolk's top club in the Bostik North, but three points at the home of our rivals this season will put that out of question. Bury are in great form going into the game thanks to 4 straight wins, in contrast Sudbury are on the back of 4 straight defeats and their under pressure manager and players will be looking for a moral boosting victory.

Bury go into the game on the back of a 4-2 win over Grays Athletic on Saturday at the Denny Bros Stadium in which Emmanuel Machaya kept up his good scoring record with a brace, with captain Ollie Fenn (pictured) and Jake Chambers Shaw also weighed in with goals.

Sudbury should be fresher for the game having played on Good Friday, but it turned out to be anything but good for the visitors as they were thrashed 6-0.

Kick off at the Kings Marsh is 3pm and your support for the Blues will be appreciated.
