Cemal Ramadan has confirmed his commitment to Bury Town by signing a 1-year contract for the 2019-20 Isthmian League season.
The striker who returned from Leiston in November 2018 for his third spell with the Blues and scored 8 goals before his season was cut short due to injury, has agreed an offer from manager Ben Chenery for the new season.
The Blues boss had to say "I am very pleased that Cemal has committed to us for the season. Goalscorers are very hard to come by, so this gives us the security for the full season. He has now had his operation that ended his season early and will be fit and ready to go when the pre-season matches kick off in early July"
"I know how to get the best out of him as a player and he enjoys playing here so it made sense to get his signature on a contract early"
Behind the scenes Ben remains in contact regarding incoming players and added "I hope to have the goalkeeping situation concluded in the very near future, I am in discussions at this moment in time and as and when that is confirmed it will be announced. I also have a couple of other discussions ongoing with potential new players.
"It is a busy time for me and the management team at the moment. We are making preparations for the start of pre-season training on July 2nd. We will be training at new venue during the summer with much improved facilities than we have done in my last 4 years with the club so that will be beneficial to the players and a much more professional environment"
