Bury Town remain top of the Isthmian North Division table after two second half goals saw them collect their 3rd straight win at Burroughs Park on Saturday.
It was another excellent performance from Ben Chenery's side who were on the front foot from the word go and created numerous chances in the first half but Bobby Mason in the Wakering goal was able to keep the Blues out.
It was a similar story in the second half with the Blues attacking up the slope, and the opening goal came after Ryan Jolland was fouled when breaking clear in the box and Cemal Ramadan converted the penalty, sending Mason the wrong way.
Any nerves that Bury may have had with just a slender one goal lead were settled when in the 76th minute Jake Chambers Shaw sent a curling effort from outside into the box past Mason and into the net to give Bury a two goal advantage.
The win see's the Blues remain top, 2 points ahead of Maldon & Tiptree who still hold a 100% record.
There is now a brief break from action as the match on Saturday 9th November against Maldon has been postponed due to their involvement in the FA Cup. The next fixture is on Tuesday 12th November when we travel to AFC Sudbury in the Velocity Trophy.
