Bury Town are back in action tonight (Tuesday) as they travel to Hadleigh United to take on Christian Appleford's Thurlow Nunn League side in a Hadleigh Charity Cup match. The takings from the fixture will be donated the charity.
Bury will be looking to bounce back from defeats to Kings Lynn Town and Braintree Town in their previous two fixtures at home, against the side managed by our former assistant manager. Under their previous manager Shane Wardley, Hadleigh knocked the Blues out of last season's Suffolk Premier Cup, and last season the sides also met in a pre-season friendly, which ended in an entertaining 3-3 draw.
Ben Chenery will continue to look at one or two trialists before making a decision on their futures closer to the season.
It is the start of another busy week as the Blues will also be in action on Friday when Needham Market are the visitors to the Denny Bros Stadium.
Tonight's game takes place at the Millfield, Tinkers Lane, Hadleigh and kicks off at 7:30pm.
