Bury Town have been handed a home draw in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and will welcome Isthmian Premier Division side Brightlingsea Regent to the Denny Bros Stadium, next Tuesday, 22nd September.

The Blues defeated Cogenhoe United 1-0 on Saturday, while this will be Brightlingsea's first game in the competition. Regent had a difficult season in 2019-20 and were in bottom position when the season was halted, but there was no relegation.

Due to the late start to the season, the First Qualifying Round will take place midweek as opposed to the traditional weekend slot.
