Another promising Ipswich Academy player joins on loan

Bury Town welcomed another new face to the team on Saturday as the signing of Ipswich Town Academy player Ryley Scott was completed in time for him to feature in the 2-3 defeat at home to Coggeshall Town.

He joins on a months loan from Ipswich and can play in both midfield and defence, and he made a great run and cross to set up Ollie Hughes for his goal on Saturday just before half time, but that was not enough for the Blues to avoid defeat.

The East London based 18 year-old had previously been part of the West Ham United academy and we hope that his experience with us in his months loan period will be beneficial to both himself and Ipswich Town.

Ben Chenery had to say "We got the opportunity to see Ryley in action against us when we played a friendly against an Ipswich Town side two weeks ago and he played very well and looked very confident, so when the opportunity arose to bring him in on loan we jumped at the chance"

"I would like to thank Alan Lee and the staff at the Ipswich Town academy for their help again and I hope that we can send Ryley back with some vital experience"
