Loanees feature in FA Youth Cup

By Chris Ward

Tommy Hughes and Ryley Scott both feature in Ipswich Town victory

Two Bury Town loanees, Tommy Hughes and Ryley Scott featured for their parent club Ipswich Town in their 4-0 win over Andover Town in the FA Youth Cup 3rd Round at Portman Road on Tuesday evening.

The non-league side from Hampshire managed to hold Ipswich to 0-0 at half time but fitness told in the second half and the home side cruised to a comfortable win.

Tommy Hughes, currently with us on a work experience loan agreement, scored Town's third goal and also set up the fourth with a great cross into the box. Both he and Scott missed the weekend draw with Dereham Town in preparation for the tie.

Kyran Clements brother Bailey Clements also captained the Ipswich Town side that now go into the 4th Round in the new year.
