Ben Chenery was disappointed with his sides defending in the 2-3 home defeat to Coggeshall Town on Saturday, but could not fault the work rate and commitment of his side.

The Blues Boss had to say: "The performance was a vast improvement from the one previously, but we must defend better than we did if we are expecting to win. You can't concede three goals at home and expect to win the game"

"We knew it would be tough against an experienced and physical side and we did not get the rub of the green regarding important decisions, but we have to be better defensively than we were today"

"I was unable to play some players in the correct positions today due to injury, and we missed Ryan Jolland in the centre of the pitch because we were forced to play him at left back with Ryan Stafford out, but I can't knock anyone's commitment and effort"

"We pushed a side expected to go up this season very close and they knew they had been in a game, but had we defended better I think we would have got something from the game"
