Bury Town record their 12th draw of the season

Another draw sees Bury Towns playoff hopes slowly slipping away. Too many missed chances in this game from Bury and Waltham led to a goalless draw. Bury had chances to open the scoring during the first half, on 3 minutes Kyran Clements got the ball in to the box but hit his shot straight at Waltham keeper Hugo Rossetti. Three minutes later Cemal Ramadan beat his marker and got to the edge of the box but his shot was also saved by Rossetti. On 11 minutes Tevan Allen was in space in the box but scuffed his shot and the ball was cleared. The best chance of the half fell to Waltham on 33 minutes. A quick attack saw Bury keeper Luis Tibbles rush out to clear the ball and Ayrton Coley beat the stranded Bury keeper but put his shot against the far post of the open goal. on 34 minutes a quick Bury attack saw Ramadan hit the side netting. Just before the break Waltham went close after a good build up but Coley fired his shot just over the bar.

Second half was more of the same. Neither side could find the finishing touch. On 50 minutes a Bury free kick was whipped in to the far post by David Cooper but the keeper beat Ollie Hughes to the ball close to the post. A slick move from Waltham on 57 minutes saw Jack Daveney put a through ball in to Coley but Tibbles was out quick to collect the ball. On 78 minutes Ramadan broke forward and put a decent cross in to the box but no Bury player was in the box to capitalise on the chance. Bury Towns best chance of a goal came with literally the last kick of the game, a strong spell of possession late in the game from Bury saw Oliver Dunlop cracked his shot off of the bar in the 94 minutes. Another draw for Bury puts yet another dent in Blues playoff hopes as Blue record their 12th draw of the season.
