Barking went on the attack on 14 minutes Ricky Tarbard played the perfect pass to Izzy Dademosi and hit stot on target was saved well by Bury keeper Luis Tibbles. Bury went close on 21 minutes whit Armani Schaar hitting a strike and a superb save from Emmanuel Olajide put the ball on to the bar and a follow up catch from Olajide ended the rare Bury attack. On 34 minutes another perfect pass from Abs Seymour found Adem Ramadan who beat Tibles to give Barking the lead. It was not long before Barking add a second goal. on 37 minutes Seymour picked up the ball in midfield and hit a fantastic shot giving Tibbles no chance as the ball flew over his head and in to the far corner for the goal of the game.

Half Time: Barking 2 Bury Town 0

Bury were looking lethargic and needed to get back in to the game. A good half from Tevan Allen and Oliver Dunlop woke Bury up. On 61 minutes Allen showed great determination on the wing and got the ball in to the box but could not find a pass for Ramadan at the back of the box. Then came the goal that killed the game off. On 70 minutes a simple cross in to the box was meet by the head of an unmarked Kemo Darboe who could not miss and Bury found themselves three goals down. With the game all but over from that point Bury kept going but lacking in front of goal it was not until the 89 minutes when Tommy Robinson showed great composure in the box to bring a high ball under control and neatly shoot past Olajide to give the travelling Bury fans something to cheer as Bury pulled a goal back. Barking took an easy win at the whistle and Bury have to concede that they were second best on the day.
