More disciplinary woes for Blues as ten man Bury Town hold on for a draw

Ten man Bury Town were under pressure for the last 20 minutes but held out to take a point. Early chances for Bury came from Ryan Jolland on 3 minutes, working the ball in to the box Jolland got to within a yard of the goal but Barking keeper Ollie Bowles was down quick to smother the chance. Jolland got down the opposite wing on 10 minutes and put a cross in to the box which was just too high for Ollie Hughes to head home. ABS Seymour had chances for the visitors midway through the half but failed to open the scoring. Dan Gilchrist hit the bar for Barking on 37 minutes. Bury Towns best move of the half came on 43 minutes with Hughes getting in to the box and finding Cemal Ramadan who hit a first-time strike sailing towards the top corner but Bowles made a superb save to keep the score level at the break.
Half Time: Bury Town 0 Barking 0

Barking should have taken the lead on 49 minutes when Abs Seymour headed well wide from 2 yards. Bury went close on 55 minutes after a long throw in from Darcy Death found its way to Ramadan at the far post but again the keeper made a great stop with his feet. Bury went down to ten men on 62 minutes with Darcy Death sent off for a dangerous two footed tackle. Another good chance was squandered by the visitors on 86 minutes when Ben O’Brian blasted his shot wide from close range. Ryan Reed also went close for Barking on 89 minutes with a powerful low drive heading for the bottom corner but was again save well by Bury Keeper Luis Tibbles. Bury were under pressure for the last 20 minutes of the game but Tibbles and the Blues defence were outstanding as Bury held out to take a point at the final whistle.
