Bury come from behind to remain unbeaten in the Ryman North.
Thamesmead started the game on the front foot and were soon creating chances early on. Chris Nanetti tried his luck from distance on 3 minutes firing a shot just past the far post. Five minutes later Ellis Green crossed an inviting ball over to Paul Vines close to goal but Vines headed wide of the mark. Bury Town had a chance on 14 minutes, Noel Aitkens hitting a low strike a foot wide of the far post. Paul Vines almost grabbed the opener a minute later, his stinging shot saw Bury keeper Neil Oâ€™Sullivan saving at a stretch. On 22 minutes Thamesmead should have been in front when Nanetti put his free kick on the head of Adrian Stone with a free header Stone headed wide. But for the goal post Bury nearly went in front by an own goal after Remi Garrett powered down the wing and his cross saw Steve Springett try to clear the ball but hitting his own goal post. John Kennedy tried to make something happen for the Blues on 30 minutes hitting a venomous strike from the middle of the park which flew wide. Thamesmead pushed Bury all half and finished the stronger. Nanetti made an opportunity for himself on 32 minutes working the ball from out wide all the way into the box past three Bury players but he pulled his shot wide of the foot of the post. Thomas Oâ€™Conner pulled a good save from Oâ€™Sullivan on 36 minutes with a great strike on goal. the stalemate was broken on 37 minutes when a strike on goal was deflected in to his own net by Kennedy. The lead didnâ€™t last, Bury equalized on 44 minutes when Ryan Jolland put his corner in the perfect spot for Ollie Hughes to rise and head Blues level.

Bury had more of the game second half. Ollie Hughes got down the wing on 50 minutes played a great cross in to the box but Bury had no one there to capitalize on it. Another chance for Bury fell on 57 minutes when Garrett crossed deep to the far post and Jolland and Hughes went for the same ball only to get in each other way close to the far post. Josh Mayhew worked a chance for Bury on 60 minutes but fired his shot over the bar. Oâ€™Connor went close for Thamesmead on 63 minutes with a great curling strike on goal which went inches past the far post. Bury then suffered a major setback when regular goal scorer Ollie Hughes had to leave the game after a nasty fall from jumping for a header and breaking his wrist. The injury was felt by the Bury fans who were close to the incident by the perimeter fencing. Bury tried to focus back in on the game and on 79 minutes Jolland went close from a free kick which was heading in but for a great save by Tyler McCarthy. Paul Vines had a late chance to snatch the win on 89 minutes but hit his shot wide from inside the box. two late corners from Bury saw them have chances of their own to win it late on. First on 92 minutes Jollands corner was flicked on by Garrett to the far post for Nick Ingram to head into the keepers arms. Then Remi Garrett put his corner on the head of Darcy Death who headed against the bar on 97 minutes. mixed emotions at the final whistle with everyone in the ground showing concern for Bury Townâ€™s Ollie Hughes and a draw being a fair result over the 90+ minutes.
