Match report
Bury Town make it through to the semi-final after another penalty shootout.

Bury cruised to a 3-0 lead but defiant Felixstowe fought back to force extra time and a penalty shootout. Bury were on top first half and were soon in front, Remi Garrett putting a corner in to the box and Ollie Hughes side footing his shot low through a crowd of players to give Bury the lead. Felixstowe had a couple of early chances from distance but Bury keeper Neil O’Sullivan kept them out with fine saves. Bury then went 2-0 up from another corner, this time Hughes scoring with a header. Bury created attack after attack and went 3-0 up on 30 minutes, a long throw in from Darcy De’ath was headed home by Ollie Canfer who had taken up a good position in the box. The home side pulled a goal back just before the break when Callum Bennett got through the defence and shot low from a tight angle across the Bury goal and found the bottom corner.

With the Blues rarely getting out of their own half but defending well on 76 minute Miles Powell pulled another goal back for Felixstowe. Then on 81 minutes Sheridan Driver scored the well-deserved equalizer to force extra time. Felixstowe had the better chances to score in extra time but O’Sullivan kept the shots out as the game went to a penalty shootout. After five penalties each and both sides scoring 4 a piece, Cemal Ramadan, Matt Collins, Connor Hall and James Patterson scoring for Bury it was sudden death. John Kennedy scored Burys seventh and O’Sullivan saving the next from Driver to send Bury through to the semi-final.
