Match report
Bury Town’s poor December form continues as Dereham take the win.

Dereham Town come from behind to take three points back home. A Goal from Adam Smith and a Luke Tuttle penalty were enough to give the visitors the win. Bury were the better of the two sides first half and started quickly. On just 3 minutes Ollie Canfer got in to the box but his shot hit the post. Bury were in control and soon took the lead as Justin Miller’s towering header beat Will Viner and few in to the top corner on 15 minutes. Will Viner was in exceptional form saving from Cemal Ramadan on 35 minutes tipping Ramadan’s shot over the bar with an athletic save and again on 45 minutes Viner pulled off another brilliant save at full stretch from Ramadan.

Half Time: Bury Town 1 Dereham Town 0

After the break Dereham took the game to Bury and almost equalized on 58 minutes when Rhys Logan fired a shot across goal which was cleared off the line by Darcy De’ath’s diving clearance header. On 77 Dereham did get the equalizer when Adam Smith got through the Bury defence with some ease to slot his shot past Neil O’Sullivan. Bury were lacking second half and paid the price for not putting their chances away first half on 82 minutes when Dereham won a penalty after O’Sullivan brought down Rhys Logan and Luke Tuttle sent O’Sullivan the wrong way to score the winner. Bury’s best chance to grab the equalizer came in injury time when a determined run down the wing from Ollie Hughes got him into the box where his cross went along the six-yard box and beat everyone as it went harmlessly out of play. Bury should have been out of sight by half time but for the performance of Will Viner who was outstanding throughout the game. Bury are still without a win in December as their poor run of form continues.
