Bury Town and Brightlingsea Regent fought out a 2-2 draw at North Road. Bury were 2-0 ahead at the break with goals from Phil Weavers and Bradley Barber but Regent fought back to draw 2-2. After an even start to the half Bury got on top and took the lead with a little help from Brightlingsea keeper Andrew Plummer. Phil Weavers hit a solid shot which was at first saved by Plummer but the power in the shot caused him to lose the ball and he could only watch as the ball continued on into the back of the net. Bury controlled the remainder of the half and went two goals up on 33 minutes, Ollie Hughes breaking through the defence and with just the keeper to beat unselfishly set up Bradley Barber who scored off the inside of the post.
