Disability Teams
General
A great couple of seasons are now under our belts and we have achieved so much in our first two seasons of football. We were Champions of the Ipswich Community Trust league in our first season, and both the first team and B team were runners up this season in their respective Cambridgeshire Ability Counts leagues.
We are now running three mixed adult teams due to our growing numbers, and we can even look forward to developing our newly formed girl’s team.
A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers, coaches and sponsors that have helped us to achieve all of this.
So now our third season is upon us and we all look forward to carrying on from where we left off from last season, so below are details of the new season ahead.
Registration
We shall be running two levels of player registration for the forthcoming 2011-12 Season. Full Registration at a total Cost £40.00 payable by 5th September 2011 or Pay As You Play Registration at a cost of £5.00 per match.

Fixtures
We will be entering both the Cambridgeshire Ability Counts League as well as the Ipswich Town Community Trust League for the forthcoming 2011-12 season and we shall play five rounds of fixtures in both leagues.
We shall be entering three teams into all league fixtures; however for the forthcoming season we shall be limiting the numbers to a maximum of nine players per team of which fully registered players will have preference over pay as you go registered players. Any remaining places will be filled on a first come first served basis by letting me know your availability. However if we find that we need to accommodate more players we shall be able to run a fourth team at these fixtures, but you must contact me if you wish to play.
Fixtures will start early in October for both leagues and will run through to the end of April with a mid season winter break.
We will meet at Ram Meadow before travelling to all fixtures for the forthcoming season and not at the Info-Bar as we have previously done.
Training
Training for the forthcoming 2011-12 season will be held on Saturday mornings between 11.15am to 12.30pm on the all weather pitch at Bury St. Edmunds Rugby Club on the following dates,
Saturday 3rd September 2011 through to Saturday 10th December 2011
Saturday 4th February 2012 through to Saturday 26th April 2012
There are no charges for training, however anyone wishing to train must complete a ‘Full’ or ‘Pay As You Play’ registration form.
