Bury Town vs AFC Sudbury postponed

The club have been forced to call off the home pre-season friendly with AFC Sudbury on Friday 5th August due to extensive damage to the pitch after the first three pre-season games. The wet weather has caused the pitch to cut up and we now are required to bring in specialist machinery to repair the damage. We would like to thank the Bury St Edmunds Golf Club who have allowed the club to borrow some equipment over the next week.

We would like to apologise to AFC Sudbury and our own supporters for this inconvinence this has caused.

The match with Cambridge United will go ahead as planned on Monday 8th August, which will be the last home pre-season friendly before the season kicks off at Horsham on Saturday 20th August. The first match at Ram Meadow is on Tuesday 23rd August when we entertain Hendon.
