Suffolk Premier Cup Semi Final

Bury Town booked their place in the Final of the Suffolk Premier Cup after defeating Bostik Premier side Needham Market on penalties at AFC Sudbury on Wednesday evening. The game finished 0-0 after an entertaining 90 minutes in which Town had chances to win the tie, the best coming in the last minute of injury time when Tevan Allen hit the bar from close range then sent the rebound over. The Blues were the better side over the 90 minutes against their higher league opponents but could not find a way through.

The match went straight to penalties and the Blues converted all 5 of their spot kicks, with Needham missing their last, and Ryan Jolland scored the decisive one to send Bury to the Portman Road final.
