FA Cup & Trophy opponents announced



The Football Association have today announced the FA Cup and FA Trophy draws for the new 2011-12 season. In the FA Cup, Bury Town will face the winners of the ties between Woodbridge Town, Gorleston and Harlow Town on Saturday 17th September at Ram Meadow. Woodbridge Town face Gorleston on Saturday 20th August in the Extra Preliminary round, and Harlow Town will travel to the winners on Saturday 3rd September in the Preliminary Round.  

In the FA Trophy, Blues face a trip to the Milfield to take on fellow Ryman Premier Division side Aveley. That match will take place on Saturday 22nd October.

In the FA Youth Cup, Bury Town's Under 18's side have been drawn at home to Cornard United in the Preliminary Round, which will be played in the week commencing 5th September.

The Ryman League Premier Division fixtures are set to be announced next Friday (15th July) and we will of course be publishing them as soon as they are released. Click here for the current Fixtures & Results page.

Don't forget that the Blues kick off the new season with a double game special next weekend when they travel to Newmarket Town on Friday 15th July, kick off 7.30pm at New Chevley Road, and then host Ulhsport Hellenic League side Wootton Bassett Town on Saturday 16th July, kick off 3.00pm at Ram Meadow. With several new faces in the door looking to build on last season's 3rd placed finish, it is action not to be missed.
