Help for Heroes match with Wootton Bassett

help-for-heroes-logoBury Town and Wootton Bassett Town will take part in a special friendly match on Saturday 16th July to help celebrate the work of the country's Armed Forces and to raise money for the popular charity Help For Heroes. Wootton Bassett is well known at the town where repatriated soldier's are flown home to, and along with Bury St Edmunds own connections with the British forces and RAF Honnington, it was thought that a special match between the two towns would be appropriate.

The match will take place on Saturday 16th July at 3.00pm at Ram Meadow, admission costs will be £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, with all admission money collected on the day going to Help for Heroes. All service personnel attending in uniform will be admitted free of charge.

Not only will this be a great opportunity for you to see the new Bury Town squad in their first action at Ram Meadow, but it will also be a great opportunity for Blues fans to raise money for Help for Heroes to help them continue the excellent work they currently do.
